Rejuvenate The Anti Aging Ezine - Issue 27. November 2007 November 26, 2007 |
| Hello, Welcome to this weeks issue of Rejuvenate. While reading the news this week, I came across another article about how chemicals in skin care are damaging to our health. Some tested cosmetic products contained higher levels of toxic ingredients than approved by the FDA. Synthetic ingredients that end up as toxic material in our bodies, interfering with normal body functions are a health hazard. Ironically, by applying creams (containing chemicals) in order to remove aging signs we are actually accelerating the aging process. We’re voluntarily applying unnecessary amounts of toxins to our skin that contribute to accumulated damage of our cells and may ultimately lead to degenerative diseases like cancer. With the recent awareness many people do decide to go green in their skin care. The problem is that there is not yet a specific regulation on labelling natural or organic products. Even though the active ingredients may be natural, often chemical preservatives are used, like Parabens. We are left having to do our own research and make our own choices. I have made the decision to only recommend anti aging skin care products that are free of synthetic ingredients and chemical preservatives. Health and anti aging go hand in hand. I do not believe in applying products containing chemicals that are damaging to the health and therefore accelerating the aging process. Join me by going green with your skin care and live a healthy happy life. Yours, Daniela Collins
