Is it best to use all skin care products required from 1 line only?

I have used Clinique Daily Moisturizer for years and quite honestly, cannot say whether it has helped my skin at all. I am 64 years old and have red blotches on my cheeks, and uneven skin tones (pale skin). Also have large pores on my nose.

They offer many many products to supposedly alleviate the above-noted issues, but nothing really makes any difference. It just seems to be cream upon cream upon cream.

Any suggestions for a good cleaners, daily cream (preferably with SPF), and a night cream (if you consider this necessary).

over the years, the skin is changing and so are the needs for the moisturizer. Sometimes the skin needs a different moisturizer for different seasons of the year, depending on your skin type.

I think that the Clinique Daily Moisturizer may be not enough anymore. It is a good cream, however it basically helps to regulate the moisture balance during the day and protect your skin from environmental damage.

At night however you can use specific serums or moisturizer to correct any skin problems. They don't need to be necessarily from one line, however I personally prefer to do so as products from one line work with each other.

My suggestion is either to switch lines all together and start with something more anti aging intense such as Revitol Anti Aging Treatment, or use other Clinique products:

For Daytime:
Clinique Repairwear Day SPF 15 Intensive Cream ( Dry Combination Skin )


Eyecream:
Clinique Anti-Gravity Firming Eye Lift Cream


Nightcream:
Clinique Anti-Gravity Firming Lift Cream ( For Very Dry to Dry Combination )



As for the cleanser, in my view anything goes as long as it removes all makeup and doesn't strip the skin of moisture.
