What foundation would be best to use to cover up acne scars?

I have acne scarring on both sides of my cheeks. What foundation would be best to use to cover up the scars?

Also I am not sure of what skin type I have and what face wash to use because I breakout alot on my cheeks. I wish I could have clear skin free of blemishes and scars. Please help me.


Hi,
I would recommend to use a foundation that is oil-free, gives very good coverage and most important contains light reflecting particles. These will help to make your skin look smooth and make the scars less visible.

Make sure the foundation color is a shade lighter than your skin color.

Because you suffer from acne breakouts, I guess you have a combination oily skin. Look out for products that are suitable for combination skin and won't clog pores. You should probably treat the acne on the cheeks with a separate acne product. Please be careful to not spread bacteria from the acne pustules all over the face when applying products.
