What is Retin A course treatment?. How long can we use it at a stretch?

Is there a medicated Vitamin C cream which I can use every night? I am using Retin A and vitamin E cream for the night. What are the side effects for life long Retin A? Can it cause thinning of skin etc.?

A course treatment for Retin A could be anything from 3 weeks to 3 month. It depends on the severeness of your skin condition. The stronger Retin A is prescribed by your dermatologist. He or she would tell you how long you need to use it. Usually it is until the skin condition has improved.

Yes Retin A can cause thinning of the skin. That's why I recommend Vitamin C, as it helps to rebuild the skins collagen.

Vitamin E is good for balancing the skin and goes well in conjunction with Retin A.
