What's is the best anti aging medical face cream?

by suzi

I would like to try Retin A but affraid that my skin would get too dry. What could I use that would not dry skin? I have combination skin.

Hi Suzi,
Retin A can dry your skin if used for a long period of time. If used as a course treatment for 4 to 6 weeks you are not likely to have the side-effect of dry skin. Once you start using Retin A you may get initial flaking of the skin which is normal, however if your skin reacts by becoming red and irritated stop using Retin A immediately.

There are also different strenght of Retin A available. Prescribed products from your dermatologist are usually higher in strenght while over-the counter products contain less and are safe to use for home-care. Some products also contain Vitamin E which acts
calming.

Sensitive skin types don't usually agree with Retin-A. Normal, oily or a combination skin type can benefit from it. Retin A is used to treat wrinkles, enlarged pores and unveven skin tone. Do not use Retin A around the eyes.

As an alternative I would recommend pure Vitamin C such as
CellexC Advanced C Serum

Vitamin C has the same effect in the skin as Retin A without drying the skin.

See Anti Aging Skin Care Product for different options.

Hope this helps.
All the best.
